Olson Orthodontics utilizes the iTero Intraoral Scanner to make accurate digital “impressions” of the teeth. Using a laser light to scan the surface of your teeth, the iTero scanner can show you the outcome of your Invisalign clear aligner treatment before you begin!
Scanning is more accurate than taking traditional impressions, which results in better and more predictable results. When it comes to clear aligner treatment, this is the new gold standard of care!
In conjunction with 3D printing, we are about to fully integrate scanning into ALL aspects of orthodontic treatment. This is truly an EXCITING time to go through orthodontic treatment!
